___________ This service is engaged subject to the following: 1. $250.00 booking fee due with this contract and balance of breeding fee due when mare leaves farm. The booking fee is non-refundable. All fees incurred such as board, veterinary and farrier are also to be paid before the mare leaves the farm. Make booking fee payable to: Glen Gabel - Quarter Horses 2. Mare shall be in a healthy and sound breeding condition, free from infectious, contagious or transmissible disease. The mare owner understands that all barren mares must have a clean uterine culture prior to beeding. This can be done before the mare enters the farm or at the farm prior to breeding at the Owner's expense. It is required that the mares be dewormed within 60 days of entering the farm and that they have been vaccinated for rhinopneumonitis and influenza. Breeder reserves the right to refuse mare if not in satisfactory condition. 3. A copy of the mare's registration papers will be required on all mares entering the farm. We request when possible, this copy accompany signed contract and booking fee. 4. Stallion owner agrees to diligently try to settle the mare. If, however, she does not settle, the stallion owner will not be held responsible. 5. It is agreed that a live foal is guaranteed from this mating. Should the foal not stand and suck, the mare owner will be entitled to return privileges the following season. Glen Gabel - Quarter Horses, Stallion Managers, Stallion Owner and/or agents will not be held liable for any infectious, transmittable, or inheritable diseases or conditions to the foal resulting from this breeding. The breeding fee that has been paid is not returnable and the return service is not transferable to another party. Upon the loss of a foal, the stallion owner shall receive a statement from the attending veterinarian that must include vaccination booster dates of the bred mare. It is further agreed that should the above stallion die or become unfit for service during this season or the season immediately following the one in which the original breeding fee has been paid and the mare does not have a live foal, the breeding fee will be returned as long as the mare owner is entitled to return privileges as stated above. If the mare dies or becomes unfit to breed, another mare may be substituted with the stallion owner's consent. Breeders certificates are issued after notification that the foal is born. 6.It is my understanding that neither the stallion owner, the stallion manager nor Glen Gabel - Quarter Horses will be held responsible for accident, sickness or death to my mare and/or foal. It is also understood that I, likewise will not be held responsible for any injury to the stallion.
